About the job:  

As a freelance video editor you will be responsible for a given project/ task which a timeline will be agreed on the delivery and budgeted accordingly for the whole project as a whole. You sole responsibility would be to deliver the project/ task at the highest standard of quality with accuracy. Any edits on the final product will also be accounted as a part of the whole project and will be considered as a part of the whole agreed budget.

Tasks and responsibilities: 

• Work with our Senior Video Editor/brand manager 
• Create video book/s based on the project requirements.  
• Design video clips based on existing footage
• Create animation/adverts based on artwork provided 
• Resizing of video clips to fit multiple platforms 
• Designing unique videos to our events e.g. special titles and promo clips 
• Create videos clips for social media needs 
• Create marketing and advertising materials
• Excellent time management skills are mandatory. 

Education & Experience [Preferred, but non-essential skills] 

• Degree/ HND or a Diploma in video editing. Motion graphic creation or related from a recognised institute. Candidates without academic qualifications but with 5+ years experience in video editing would also be considered.
• Proficiency in Adobe package and After Effects is a necessity.  
• Design skills 
• Prior experience in the edutainment industry will be a definite advantage.
